Recast In Argentina

What better setting than Patagonia, Argentina in the winter to showcase the Polarmax line of clothing!

On a recent trip to Argentina, Recast produced photography and video for the new Polarmax website set to debut this fall.

“It was an opportunity to capture the versatility, comfort and technical aspects of the Polarmax clothing line in the harshest of conditions,” said Recast founder, David Newey.

“While most people understand the benefits of basic long underwear in cold climates, this trip made me appreciate high performance fabrics next to the skin when hiking in a place such as Patagonia, on a glacier, in 20 degree weather. There is a reason why these fabrics are called technical base layers. If you are going to do any kind of outdoor activity in the cold weather, and want to stay warm and dry, you’ll come to realize that your base layer clothes are just as important, if not more important, than your outer layer; not to mention how comfortable they are lounging in the lodge afterward!”

Keep an eye out for the new Polarmax website launching this fall, including photos and video of Polarmax in Argentina.
